Sluices are not a big seller however they are sometimes used as an emergency block in flood situations. The sluice shown is backup in case of a floodgate malfunction. It is made of Stainless steel with a plastic flap. We have produced sluices from 500mm diameter to 2.5 meters. From around 600mm the flap is usually fitted with a lift and lower mechanism. The larger sluices are sometimes made of steel which is sand blasted and painted.
